Michigan Technological University’s Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for a non‐tenure track Lecturer position starting August 2018. The Department seeks individuals with teaching expertise and experience in computer engineering, including digital logic design, hardware description language, microcontrollers, embedded systems, assembly language, and computer‐aided integrated circuit design.
Basic responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in computer engineering, and the supervision and advising of senior‐design projects. Other responsibilities may include occasional research support.
Required qualifications are an M.S. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field; classroom teaching experience in an accredited engineering program, and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across cultural boundaries and to work harmoniously with diverse groups of students, faculty and staff.
